Maffia 2 definitive edition + old time mod beta 4. Hey I was wondering if someone knows a solution for this: I played mafia 2 definitive edition standard and that was just fine. I wanted to use a graphics mod and installed it but now I get no text at all when I want to start a new game. And when I continu and want to start a new game, the game Mafia 2 is going to be the best game they've ever made for me, simple as. It had that balance between being a semi-realistic Mafia game, quirky missions that weren't just annoying and fantastic realistic characters. Mafia: Definitive Edition suffers from missions which are just, insanely stupid. Mafia Definitive edition has the best gameplay which is to be expected with 10 years between them. Mafia 2 had a fantastic soundtrack and even better world with shops, customisation and more to do and see to get that 1950s vibe. Mafia 2 DE Plays worse on PS5. Mafia 2. Just did a playthrough on PS5, and it definitely has more issues than on PS4. Chapter 7 had a big area near Joe's apartment where all cars were falling through the map (including mine). The only way to avoid this was to manually navigate around this to my destination. The chapter where you drive to Leo's I played all Mafia games last year, and I only really enjoyed the first Mafia (Definitive Edition), but actually really, really enjoyed. Simple gameplay, but great story worth the playthrough. Each one went down hill from there and honestly couldn't get into them like the first. The series ranks like this for me (on PC) Mafia (2002), Mafia II (2010), Mafia: Definitive Edition (2020), Mafia III (2016-2020). the original 2002 game is still hands down the single best video game experience I ever had and I originally played it when it was new in 2002 and here and there over the years since. it never fails to deliver a great experience. Hell no. The remaster is terrible. It doesn’t change the graphics that much,but it introduces hundreds of gamebraking bugs. Just keep the original. Maybe buy the DLCs separately if you want. Wow it has more bugs that sucks I'll just replay the original and (as you suggested) buy the DLCs separately thank you. You can see the difference in graphics quite easily, and on top of the fact that each Definitive edition comes with all the DLCs, as far as I’ve played (all the way through Mafia 2 & 3 Definitive editions) there are little to no glitches or bugs that weren’t already in the original editions. .
